Learn more about the stars and planets with the Alachua Astronomy Club. Sip hot cocoa, roast s'mores, enjoy a hayride, and more under a starlit sky. Paynes Prairie has one of the darkest skies in Alachua county, and astronomy club volunteers share their powerful telescopes with our guests, allowing you to see some amazing features of our universe. Bring friends, family, and chairs.
