Volunteers are needed at Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park

 

We are currently seeking Campground Host volunteers May through August 2016

 

Campground Hosts provide a minimum of 20 hours per week of volunteer service in exchange

for a campsite with water, electricity, and sewer connections. 

Campground Hosts must be friendly, reliable, able to work both independently and with others, and able to fulfill host position duties per the position description. 

Stays are limited to 16 weeks per year.

We are currently seeking Ranger Station volunteers

 

Volunteer 4 hours per week, on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays.

The park is also assembling a resource management team for seasonal maintenance along the Gainesville-Hawthorne Trail and selected trails, and fence repair and removal.

 

Additional positions include grant writer/coordinator, fundraiser, and event coordinator.
